In an unregulated industry, it's important to know who you're hiring. As an evidence-based trainer, I use LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) principles as an ethical guide when considering options for behavior change. Every dog is an individual, and we should continue to consider their experience throughout this process.

Just like us, our dogs learn best when they're having fun. Keeping things positive by recognizing emotional signals and setting our dogs up for success are just part of reaching our goals. New behaviors are best taught with a clicker and treats because of the consistent sound of the clicker and the potency of primary reinforcers. The best part?- everyone can do it! During sessions, we will play games, discuss enrichment, exercise and rest as a big-picture approach to solving problems. While there are never any guarantees with behavior, together, we will develop realistic goals to make sure everyone's needs are met.
